I've been a fan of Molly Hatchet since 1978, I was 13 years old when I first heard Molly's debut opus, though the band has changed members more than most bands in the Southern Rock genre, Molly Hatchet never walks off the beaten path of the Southern Rock they were born to do ...Released in 1996 during the trendy but awful 'Grunge Rock' era, while many bands dabbled in the music style to keep themselves relevant Molly Hatchet stuck to their guns and came up with 'Devil's Canyon' one helluva rockin' release ..The whole album is a powerhouse rocker. Sadly this would be original Molly Hatchet singer Danny Joe Brown's last work as he shared song duties with Pat McCormak who was personally picked by Danny Joe Bown to be his successor who eerily sounds like Danny himself ...I say if you're a huge Southern Rock fan I highly recommend this album!
