In 2007, ex-Thin Lizzie guitarist Moore held a concert at the London Hippodrome, playing songs from the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Moore had been fifteen when he heard the Experience perform live in Belfast in 1967 and he still remembered Hendrix's take on "Foxey Lady," which Moore included in his set here. Moore's drummer for the evening was Primal Scream alumnus Mooney; bassist Bronze had played for Clapton and Art of Noise. Later in the set, Hendrix alumni Cox and Mitchell came on stage to play "Red House," "Hey Joe" and "Stone Free."

The set starts with a blistering rendition of "Purple Haze," followed by "Manic Depression" and Foxey Lady." It ends with "Hey Joe" and "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)." Every song on the album is from Hendrix's repertoire, with the possible exception of a short riff entitled "My Angel," which precedes Moore's playing of Hendrix's "Angel." (David Keymer)
