Chris Hicks, the guitar player from the last three albums from The Outlaws, is now playing with the Marshall Tucker Band. But he's also fronting his own band, which with he's now releasing this live album.

The opening song, "Cissy Strut" is an instrumental and is followed by the great "It All Comes Back Around". There's also an other instrumental which should get the attention, that is "Blue Jean Overture", which sounds real close from Santana. "The Rain" is a great southern ballad. We also have some great blues songs, "Blues Got Me Down" and the long "Macon Blues", which was on The Outlaws's album "Diablo Canyon". Let's hope the energy we have in this live album will also be in the next Marshall Tucker Band's studio album. (Jacques Dersigny)
