Before they recorded the tracks for their most recent album, A Southern Offering, Arkansas-based pure Southern Rock band, Zach Williams and the Reformation (ZWR) tracked fifteen songs on a 2010 demo that they intended to use as a musical calling card to the industry.

A year later they wound up releasing A Southern Offering on their own, to quite a bit of critical praise from the media and industry alike. But ZWR is always looking for ways to give a little something extra to their fans, and they are doing so now with the 2010 Live Demos, an album of just that—all of the songs from A Southern Offering, plus four more previously unreleased tracks.

“These demos are a peek into what the songs were like before pre-production on the album began,” said Williams.

Recorded in a small studio in the band’s hometown in Jonesboro, this collection of demos was recorded in just under three hours, giving it a raw feel and, as guitarist Robby Rigsbee said, “To give fans a bird’s eye view of how the songs actually grew into what they are now.” (
