This album is a fine piece of blues music. Hints of Elmore James, Jimmy Reed and Howlin' Wolf can be detected in Pittman's electric guitar style. This recent album does the Texas Blues scene justice with favorites like Call Them How I See Them, Mr. Dime Dropper, My Luck Has Changed and Let's Blow This Joint. The mark of musical greatness is based on how well a group sounds live. The truth is that this band is also superb in concert. His band plugs in, using minimal but very cool sounding equipment, and delivers a raw energetic blues performance. Any and every musical part on this album is recreated to the "TEE" when they play these songs live. (VintageManMusic)
